Kitty Birthday!

Hello everyone! Today is my birthday!! I am five years old.

I got an early birthday present last night because Joel and Heather went to sleep without remembering that I was still inside. So I got to play in the nighttime all by myself in the big house! It was the most fun I've had in a long time...

At 2 a.m. Heather woke up because I was pouncing outside the bedroom (I'm not supposed to go inside there but sometimes I do) and then it was the end of the fun party for the night.

I hope that today brings more surprises. So far it has been great--Heather let me in the house in the morning and I have been spending most of it sleeping on the couch! What more could an outdoor kitty ask for?

Also, in other news, Joel and Heather said on their podcast that I had killed a mouse. But that is not entirely true. I killed two mice! I just wanted to set the record straight. You can call me "Killa Kitty" if you want!

Hi Emily, I think I remember you...didn't you stay at my old house once a couple of years ago? I think I pounced on you or at least ran around meowing really early in the morning. Sorry, it's hard for me to remember all Heather's friends.

Anyway, you said Heathy was cute, but I'm sure you mean me, Hiroki! When you call Heather by that nickname, we do sound a lot alike though, so I can see how that would be confusing.
