Via Crucis in Atlanta

Erin and I are heading to Atlanta this weekend to provide music for a Via Crucis event.  If you are in the Roswell area on Sunday (Palm Sunday), please join us at St. Andrew's Catholic Church around 5:30, and witness this moving experience.  It's going to be full of music, testimonies, slideshows, readings, and movie clips — all centered around the passion of Christ.

In case you don't know, Via Crucis1 is another expression for the Stations of the Cross, Way of the Cross, Via Dolorosa.  It's a Catholic tradition to "accompany" Christ along his passion by remembering the stations of suffering, especially during Lent, as we lead up to Good Friday.

UPDATE:  The Via Crucis was awesome!  Each station included a movie clip from The Passion of the Christ, followed by either a testimony or a Gospel reading.  The testimonies where given by 5 people who had experienced tremendous suffering and endured the cross.  After the testimony, somebody would bring up a big wooden cross and hoist it on a stand in the front.  By the end, there were 14 beautiful crosses, and we finished with Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.  It was very moving!  I can't wait for next year.
