I wrote this song when I was, no joke, in Nashville. My friend Nic Herdler and I were in route for Florida to spend a week on the beach. But the song has nothing to do with Nashville, Florida, or beaches. It is more a simple cry for God's help in the middle of a difficult time in life.
Oh great God, give me rest
From this great emptiness
I feel stuck in a mess
Oh great God, do your best
Oh great God, do your best
