1000 CDs arrived on June 20th, 3 days early! The artwork looks great (thanks to Nic Perez), and even though I had already heard the master, listening to the finished product sounds even better. I'm so pleased with the work David Smith1 did with the project.
I had the privilege of performing before thousands of youth at the Youth and Family Encounter this past weekend, as well as for the Kids tracks and one family program. My sister Erin joined me, and what an experience it was! I thank God for this opportunity, because many people heard about the CD, and lots of Legionaries received free copies! :) I think there was video footage taken of the performance, and so if I can get my hands on it I'll try to post it online.
If you were a little shy about pre-ordering the CD, never fear — they are ready to be shipped out and popped in your favorite stereo. Just visit the order page2... and if you want to buy a CD for a friend, you get a discount when ordering two.
Some other exciting news... the song "Take Me" was chosen to be the CatholicSingles.com3 song of the month for September 2007. I'm not sure where the song will appear on their website, but I'll be sure to post that when I find out.
Now that August is here, it's time to start getting creative about announcing the CD to the world, and let God put it in the hands of those he wants. Thanks again for all your prayers and support!

"Always Forward" - only 8 days away! |
Thanks, Kendra! Wow, every day, huh? You better be careful that you don't wear yourself out. :) Praise God!
I agree with Kendra, I've listened to it everyday too!
everyday here too, Joel. God rocks through you (and the background vocals and musicians). Thanks for keeping your eyes and heart on this project...I am sure it was (and will continue to be) well worth the wait.
Ryan: You know, I very seldom wait for anything, but this project I did, because God helped me be very patient, especially through the advice of a friend named Matthew Baute. But then, at just the right moments — seriously — He opened doors. Another example of his perfect providence.
Joel, it was great to see you and the family at our wedding. Too bad its such a busy time and we didnt get to hang out much. Oh well, you know how that goes. Julia and I listened to the CD and it sounds great. I cant tell you how happy for you I am. Thanks for responding to the Lord's will in your life. The whole Church gains from it. Always Forward is a great title for so many reasons. "Save the Family" is the best song on the CD and is an inspiration to live my vocation. Happy birthday to Lucia and say hi to Heather, Matthew.
