The Steins Are Heading South

Well, our days in St. Louis are almost over. Heather grew up here, and I have lived here for a few years now. We met, got married, lived in our first and only home together, and welcomed Lucia into the world, right here in STL. But now we're heading south to make new memories!

My work with Mission Network1 is taking me just outside of Atlanta, to the city of Cumming, Georgia2. I've been working as a web developer from home for the past 6 months, but it's been challenging to work remotely while the rest of the team is in Atlanta. So, we're taking the plunge.

Heather will continue being the professional wife and mother that she does so well already. She looks forward to making a new home, hopefully finding time to pick-up her childhood hobby of playing the piano. And so far, Lucia seems okay with the decision, though it's hard to imagine our little Midwestern girl becoming a southern belle.

We sure will miss all the Missouri folk as we travel to Hot-lanta. You just can't beat the Heartland. Except that it will be a bit warmer, and we'll be closer to the ocean, which means all of family and friends will have to visit often!

Speaking of traveling to Atlanta, why not come down for the YFE3? We can party together! Plus, we'll be living near a big lake (not as big as Lake of the Ozarks, though). Please pray for us as we make the trek to find a new home, and buy our first house!

When will the move actually take place?

Joel, Heather and Lucia,

WOW! All the way to Atlanta? Good luck and keep in touch. I will continue to check your "steindom" site for info and pictures as Lucia grows.

It's been a real blessing to get to share music with you, Joel. A time I will always treasure. I will pray for you all in your transition.

In His Divine Mercy, Sally

Hey, Melissa! This is the Melissa we know from Greg Robeson/youth ministry, right? Great to hear from you.We are moving the last weekend in February. It is coming up soon! How did you find our site? Please keep in touch!

Sally: I know Joel feels the same about sharing music with you! We really enjoyed your Christmas song with the kid's choir. I found myself singing it around the house, it's so catchy! We'll miss all the Dayspring-ers :)
